The Many Faces of Diversity
We invite you to our spring conference, The Many Faces of Diversity. This year's conference will be held April 20-21, 2012 in Des Moines at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites on Merle Hay Road.
This year’s conference will have a diversity of sessions which we hope will inspire you to attend. You will have the opportunity to learn about human trafficking. You will hear a story of a Rwanda refugee and her journey to become a United States Citizen. Authors Mark Grey and Michele Devlin will share about their work with Iowa immigrants and their book Postville USA.
Come hear Dr. Karen Zunkel from Iowa State University share about women in science and engineering field.
You won’t want to miss our keynote speaker, Iowa Supreme Court Justice Mark Cady. One issue Justice Cady will speak about is the importance of keeping politics out of the court systems.
